Just like in last week’s section of Galatians, Paul is once again presenting an argument. Last week he argued the case for his legitimacy as a true Apostle of Christ.  In this week’s passage Paul is arguing for why the gospel message he presented was authentic and not distorted, and so he proceeds to build a legal argumentto demonstrate how the “distorted” gospel presented by the false teachers in the Galatian churches was so damaging.
