What are some ways that we know how much we value something, whether it is another person, a hobby, our job, etc? We can look at our budget and see what we spend most of our money on, we can look at our calendars and see how we spend most of our time, or ask a close friend what they perceive to be our greatest loves and passions. That is exactly what this morning’s passage exposes: The hearts of two individuals in the last days of Jesus Christ before his crucifixion, one day before the Triumphant Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.
