In this morning’s passage Jesus seeks to encourage and comfort His disciples in light of the teaching on persecution we went through last week. So Jesus’ main way of encouraging His disciples on the heels of this sobering news that the world would hate His disciples was to go into a more detailed explanation of HOW the Holy Spirit would work in the world and in their lives.
