Whether we are hearing about the next big recession due to crashing oil prices, mass shootings, an Ebola outbreak, the Zika virus, or ISIS, how should the Christ-follower and the community of believers react, and how can they shine as a light of hope in a hopeless world?

Paul’s final charges and encouragements in the last chapter of Philippians are intended to be an appeal to the way the believers should present themselves in the hostile culture in which they found themselves in First Century Philippi.
