Have you ever been really thirsty? Clean water is something we typically take for granted in our country. People will typically begin to die of thirst within 2-3 days of going without water. This is something we probably do not think about often, in term of our physical needs, but how “hydrated” are you from the spiritual perspective? Would you say your soul thirsts for something more than what this life can offer? This is the very question Jesus brings up with a Samaritan woman in this morning’s passage.
