Last week we followed Jesus from the tomb along the road to Emmaus as He encouraged and taught two disciples the reason why He needed to suffer and die, and we know that Jesus stayed with them up to the point that He broke bread with them, but then suddenly vanished from their presence. So where did Jesus go?  To answer that we will be looking into two Gospel accounts: Johnand Luke. Both record Jesus’ first appearance to His disciples in Jerusalem in the upper room, the evening after His resurrection. We will begin by reading John 20:19-23 but spend most of our time in Luke 24:36-49.
