The default condition of the human heart is to believe in oneself rather than to believe in God. Therefore, it is only when God supernaturally grabs that person’s heart and mind, drawing them to Him through His Son Jesus Christ that one can be in a relationship with God. This has been the main thrust of the teachings of Jesus Christ throughout John chapter 6, which we have been going through for the past several weeks. As we wrap up Chapter 6 this morning, we finally come to the place where the people who were listening to his teachings were forced to decide who Jesus was and whether to follow him or reject him.
