The Faith Grown In Adversity
Bible Text: Hebrews 11:23-28 | Preacher: E, Eric Kretschmer | Series: Heroes Of The Faith
This morning in our series on the Heroes of the Faith we move from the founder of the faith, Abraham and his family, jumping ahead 400 years to a new era of faith, beginning with one of the undisputed champions of the faith: Moses. It was Moses whom God called to lead the captive Israelites out of slavery, through the wilderness to the Promised Land; it was Moses whom God spoke to alone on mount Sinai, giving him what we call the Ten Commandments and the Laws of the Old Testament, and it was Moses who wrote the first five books of the Old Testament, as well as a few of our Psalms.
