We are in the section of the Gospel of John called the “Upper Room Discourses”, and Jesus is intimately teaching and encouraging His disciples what it truly means to follow Him. As a part of His encouragement to them, Jesus tells them He will be leaving them a Gift after he has left them: The Holy Spirit.
