After describing Jesus Christ as our role model, who humbled himself to the point of death on a cross Paul moves on to why we must think upon Christ’s example. But what value or use is Jesus Christ or the godly people in our lives if we do not actually follow their examples? This is the heart of Paul’s message in this morning’s passage.
